Background

 

Tammy has provided seasoned, practical counsel in a number of Canada's most high-stakes, complex commecial disputes, including those in the telecommunications, energy, and professional services sectors.  She has been retained in a host of different roles, including as lead counsel, settlement counsel, and as senior advisory counsel, working with teams of internal and external lawyers across multiple jurisdictions and firms.  

 

Tammy has also acted as a third-party investigator and advisor with respect to internal, disciplinary, and risk management matters for professional services firms.

 

During her 35 years in practice, Tammy has appeared before all levels of the Alberta Courts, the BC Supreme Court, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Canada (in writing), and before various tribunals and regulatory bodies.
